🏛 Explore the Manor
Built in 1831, Harlaxton Manor is a one-of-a-kind architectural gem, blending Jacobean, Elizabethan, and Baroque styles into a breathtaking historic house. The staterooms were designed as a grand tour of Europe, featuring intricate details and opulent interiors.
🌺 Stroll Through the Gardens
Our formal gardens and parkland are some of Harlaxton’s most treasured features. Highlights include:
✔ French terraces & manicured lawns
✔ Italian garden & stunning floral displays
✔ Dutch canal & observatory
✔ A 19th-century conservatory featuring exotic plants, including donations from the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew

Throughout the year, Harlaxton Manor serves as a home to international students from the University of Evansville, making public visits a rare treat. You’ll have the opportunity to meet students and staff who love sharing stories about the manor’s rich history.
